The past few decades have brought unprecedented changes to our country and the Kathmandu valley. The influencing factors are many, and the drastic change is mainly seen in the natural and the built environment around us. As the guardians of the built environment, the architects and engineers have the responsibility to see that these changes are respectful to our past heritage and sustainable to the future generations.

The present conference on "Trends in Architecture" aims to bring together academicians, professionals and researchers working in this field to share their experiences and original research-findings, which will ultimately help to shape our future towns and villages.

Submitted extended abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee of the conference for approval.

We believe that the participants of the conference will get an opportunity to establish research relations, and to find research partners for future collaboration.
